The Beatrix Potter Society Annual General Meeting and Leslie Linder Lecture with Viewing of Special Objects from the V&A Collection

Preliminary Schedule of Events

12.45 – 1.30 Arrivals.

Use the main V&A entrance where someone will be on hand to direct you to our meeting room location. The sales table and bring and buy will be open. This is a good time to meet old friends as well as new Members.

1.30 - 2.00 Annual General Meeting and Elections.

2.00 – 2.30 Break with coffee/tea/biscuits

2:30 – 2.45 A few words from your new Committee

2.45 – 4.00 Leslie Linder Lecture by Annemarie Bilclough, followed by time to view special objects to be displayed just for us from the V&A Collection.

Annemarie is the Frederick Warne Curator at the V&A. Her career includes many years at the National Art Library and the Prints Collection. She has worked on a variety of illustration-focused projects and has managed the V&A’s Illustration Awards. She wrote the Rembrandt section of the Europe 1600-1800 Galleries and contributed to the Art Deco, Arts and Crafts and Blood on Paper exhibitions, as well as to displays for Mapping the Imagination and Seventy Years of Penguin Design. Her biggest and most recent project has been Winnie-the-Pooh: Exploring a Classic, which she curated with Emma Laws.
