Ninety Society members from across the globe gathered via Zoom on July 28th to celebrate Beatrix Potter’s 156th birthday. Alice Sage, National Trust Curator, conducted a virtual tour of the newest exhibition, “The Language of Flowers” at the Beatrix Potter Gallery in Hawkshead. Following the virtual tour, Martha McDowell, author of Beatrix Potter’s Gardening Life, interviewed Alice about the theme of the exhibition.
