Free Bulb Planting Event at Wray Castle Estate This Autumn! 🌷
Get ready for a blooming good time at the Wray Castle estate near Ambleside! This autumn, the National Trust asks you to join them for a free bulb planting event that promises to fill the grounds with a stunning array of flowers come spring.

⏰ Time: 10am – 1pm
📍 Location: Wray Castle estate, Low Wray near Ambleside, LA22 0JA
No need to book—just show up in clothes you don’t mind getting a bit muddy. We’ll provide all the necessary equipment!
This event is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the grounds for both visitors and wildlife. Earlier this year, we planted 4,000 regional wildflower plug plants, providing essential food for pollinators and birds.
This bulb planting event is made possible thanks to generous donations to the National Trust Garden Fund.
