The Beatrix Potter Society’s Collection of Objects was presented by Libby Joy. She introduced some of its treasures and discussed their provenance and significance, showing images where these are available. Many objects were purchased using funds donated by Members, others are generous gifts and bequests. Libby has been researching, writing, and editing books about Beatrix Potter for nearly thirty-five years has been involved with the Society for all that time, and is its long-standing Journal & Newsletter editor. She also talked about some of the people associated with the acquisitions, many of whom shaped the Society during its first four decades.
