The Linder Lecture 2025 was held by Lizzie Jacklin, Keeper of Art at North East Museums (formerly Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums). Lizzie has previously worked at Tate Britain and the V&A. While at the V&A she curated the displays Beatrix Potter’s London (2016) and ‘Chippendale in the Drawing Room’: Beatrix Potter’s fascination with furniture (2018). Her interests include works on paper, nineteenth-century British art and the work of J.M.W. Turner, and she has organised a number of exhibitions and displays relating to these topics. Her publications include The Art of Print: Three Hundred Years of Printmaking (Tate, 2021) and the exhibition catalogue Turner: Art, Industry & Nostalgia (Laing Art Gallery, 2024)
