The publication is a charitable project and has been produced voluntarily. All proceeds will be donated to the school.

Written by two Bousfield parents who are also art historians, this is the first history of the school and its site. Besides many others it has photographs of the outside of Bolton Gardens taken in 1932; Beatrix with her brother and father; and Beatrix with William Heelis the day before her wedding in 1913.

‘Building a school on the site of Beatrix Potter’s London home and garden feels particularly special. The spirit of the witty animal characters she created and her love of children, remain rooted in the school.’
