The place Beatrix Potter described as “the place I love best in the world” is now available, for the public to visit!
Camfield Place is situated in rolling hills, park and woodland designed by the famous Capability Brown. The house itself was rebuilt in the Italianate style by the Grandfather of Beatrix Potter over 150 years ago and still retains many of its original features. Beatrix Potter visited the house on many occasions.
